That's what she wrote as her Skype status. And that inspired and encouraged me to reach out my hand. When I was leaving her on the first date, I touched her hand while giving her a high five and I fell in love with her shy smile.

She didn't like me at first, and thought I was a racist because I looked down on the poor African workers in Canton assuming many of them are HIV carriers. She reminded me of Radka when she angrily claimed that I was a racist. I didn't really mind what she thought I was, but I started to like her. She sent me some pictures and I thought "hmm... not bad".

I've dated her four times. We've spent three nights walking along the Pearl River. It feels more romantic than the Huangpu River in Shanghai, because there're no noisy tourists and the night view is quite beautiful as both sides of the river are lit up. But there was no metro to go back after 11pm. And taking a taxi is too expensive to the city center. So I thought I could try to go back on foot. I know it's hard to understand for a lot of people. But I've really done crazy/stupid things before, so I don't mind doing it another time in Canton. It was a long way from Shangrila Hotel to the bus top where I could get on a night bus, about two kilometers. I didn't know which direction to go from Pazhou Exhibition Center to the city center, I took it for granted that there must be a road to the tallest building in Canton, the new 610-meter tall TV tower, which was clearly visible from such a long distance. But surprisingly I ended up at the entrance of an expressway! So I had to walk back and it was four kilometers covered in vain. It was the first time for me to stay outside in Canton after midnight. I asked her if I could stay in her house and the answer was a big NO, because her colleague's father had come today to visit his daughter and her colleague was sleeping in her room. She was quite worried about me when I told her I was still walking outside and she started crying. She asked me to take a taxi and hung up on me. And after half an hour I sent her a text message lying that I was already home to calm her doown. But as a matter of fact, I was quite scared walking all alone on the road, although there were spy cameras almost everywhere, especially when walking through the trees in the dark park under the flyover to take a short cut. I already finished the coke but the plastic bottle coulnd't be used as a self defense weapon, but luckily I found an empty beer bottle made of glass on the way, which was better the the coke bottle. Pazhou Bridge was a long bridge, and I didn't see anybody walking on the bridge. There were only cars and one bike rider. I was standing on the bridge and looking at the Pearl River shouting "Rio Janeiro"! I don't know why I was thinking about going to Rio Janeiro at that time. Maybe coming to Canton is a big step in my life, and I can see that in the future I will go to Rio Janeiro! River of January! I still amazed by the fact that I am in Canton and I met my old friend here today and told her that I have a new girlfriend in Canton now. Her name is Limin and she asked me to open a local bank card so that it doesn't cost anything fee to deposit money. I was jokingly asking whether she wanted me to "chengjialiye" here. Both of us were laughing out loud. She wrote her first blog entry on her newly opened space on Xiaonei and she wrote about me, so I thought I should write about her on my space now. So that's it for today. Good night.

Hengli Aluminum Industry - China Manufacturer of Aluminum Poles

"Hengli Aluminum Industry", short for Shaoxing County Hengli Aluminum Industry Company, Limited, is located in the Huashe Industrial Park of Shaoxing County, Zhejiang Province, People's Republic of China. We are a manufacturer of aluminum products, including arrow shafts, backpack frames, tent poles, tent stakes, telescopic trekking poles, fixed-length ski poles, folding walking sticks, etc. We still keep designing new products, such as X-shaped folding stools. I've been working here in the international sales department for over a month now. And I like taking photos, although my SONY camera is not so professional. The pictures on my blog are all taken by myself. No special program is used to change the color quality of the photos. I only use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to change the size and use Windows Paint to paste the smaller pictures on the background. So you can see actually several pictures in one big picture. I am also a fan of outdoor sports, especially hiking and camping. Our staff will probably go hiking some day on the nearby montains to try our own products. That would be awsome!
http://shaoxinghengli.en.alibaba.com/
http://www.shaoxinghengli.com/ I didn't pay much attention on that news message and closed it after reading. But not long after I saw some of my buddies on my Xiaonei (Chinese Facebook) updated their status like "Damn, I felt an earthquake!" Many of my buddies on Xiaonei are university students in Beijing. Wow, even they could feel the earthquake in Sichuan Province! My curiosity began to grow, and I was wondering how big the earthquake really was. And later, I found a picture uploaded on Xiaonei by a Tibetan student which was captured from the website of Sichuan Provincial Government and showed an article about rumors of a coming earthquake were disaffirmmed by Sichuan Earthquake Bureau. What a big mistake the Earthquake Bureau has done! I began to feel angry at it, and captured a picture of the article on the website by myself as a proof, in case it would be deleted soon. And, yes, it was deleted later. But Beijing government reacted quickly. Rescue has been sent there. And our Premier Wen Jiabao also went there, and ordered all the soldiers to try the best to save lives, in spite of the rain. But it is reported that nearly ten thousand people have been found dead, and seven thousand nearly the earthquake center are out of communication with the outside. Many schools and hospitals have collapsed. People in Sichuan Province dare not to stay indoors after the main earthquake, because smaller earthquakes or aftershocks continuously came to hit. It's a total catastrophe to our country! It reminds me of 911 in the States, and my eyes were wet last night when I was in bed, thinking about the people who were staying outdoors overnight.

Below are ome pictures from a Tibetan student on Xiaonei, showing the students of Southeastern University of China sleeping on the ground outdoors.

Who on Earth visit my Xanga?

I haven't used my Xanga for a long time. But the strange thing is I still get some footprints. Some of the visiters are from California. I don't know who they are. I just want to know why they still visit my Xanga and how they know this account exists. If you are one of the visiters from the States and reading this, would you please leave a message and tell me who you are and why you visit my Xanga? I went to Nanajing from Shaoxing by train. Train ticket is RMB 40 Yuan. ( half price) And stayed in a hotel in Nanjing for two nights. I had a real good time in Nanjing. It's really an amazing city. And I met an awesome American guy who had been wanting to be a Chinese citizen. He can speak very good Chinese. And the most amazing thing was that he had written a book called "I'm Not A Foreigner" in Chinese! At first I was speaking to him in English, because he is an Amrican. But later he used a very advanced Chinese word that surprised me. Then I just treated him like a real Chinese, and talked to him all in Chinese. Then I aksed him how many languages he could speak. And we came to the topic of Esperanto. He's a learner of Esperanto. And I know something about that man-made language, too. So I was so interested that I didn't want to leave him. Then came the dinner time. He didn't want to eat any meat, because he had been a Buddist since last year. Oh my!! What a guy!! That means he will never be able to get married!! I took some pictures with him. And left for my dinner. And then I found out that food in Nanjing was much cheaper then that in Shaoxing. Even in the most prosperous area, prices of different kinds food are almost the same as those near our college in Shaoxing. And the college is in the suberbs of Shaoxing. I realy felt some kind of regretful to go to college in Shaoxing! And I decided that I'd work in Nanjing in the future! Haha, who'd know where I'd be working? In Zhejiang or Southern Jiangsu, wherever~

I came home from Nanjing by bus. Ticket price is RMB 30 Yuan.

I'm in a foreign trade company working as a trainee worker now. And I'm in the office using the computer, surfing the internet, cheking my email box, and so on.
